Eterlogic virtual serial ports emulator

Quick config

Use "Quick config" to pick one of common scenarios to avoid creating multiple VSPE devices manually.

The configuration steps are simplified on purpose: advanced options are not displayed to keep it simple.

If needed, you can always edit VSPE devices created by "Quick config" scenario later to see all configuration options.

Share COM port device (Serial Router)

Recommended for sharing HAM radio CAT port to avoid data collisions.

Use this scenario if you want to share device with many applications that require special routing to handle data collisions, such as HAM radio CAT port using Serial Router.

If you do not need advanced routing/data collision handling, you can select "Fan-Out" protocol which works similar to Virtual Splitter.

All traffic going through Serial Router can be monitored (see Monitoring tool).

Share COM port (Virtual Splitter)

Use this scenario if you want to share COM port with many applications (with simple fan-out logic) using Virtual Splitter.

Splitter works similar to Serial Router in Fan-out mode.

Traffic going through Virtual Splitter cannot be monitored in Monitoring tool.

Create multiple virtual ports (Virtual Connectors)

Use this scenario to create many Virtual Connector devices.

Access COM port over network (TcpServer)

Use this scenario to share COM port (existing or new virtual port) over network using TCP Server device.

Access COM port over network (TcpClient)

Use this scenario to share COM port (existing or new virtual port) over network using TCP Client device.
