When reporting bug: please try to include enough information in email message, so that we can better understand/reproduce the issue.

  • Problem description: please specify what is actual error message or describe what exactly does not work.
  • Operating System version (For example, Windows 10 Pro 64 bit).
  • Product version: for example, Virtual Serial Ports Emulator (64 bit)
  • Relevant screenshots.
  • Lots of useful technical information for VSPE can be fetched from "Info" tab in Help->About: it contains some details.
  • Please do not send us any data you do not want to share with us (for example, VSPE Settings folder path contains your Windows Login user name).

The data you send to us is NOT shared with 3rd parties and is accessible only internally by the person who is investigating the problem.


Emails from other email addresses (not specified on this page) do not represent and are not related to in any way unless confirmed by message from official email address.

Remember that you should NEVER share any sensitive information (passwords, credentials, your credit card information etc).

If you contacted support and the problem cannot be solved otherwise, we can ask for more details - but not the sensitive information mentioned above. In case the issue is not trivial, we can ask you to run some commands or (only if you are OK with that) to have shared screen session.
