VSPE can be started as a service.
- If you are running VSPE on 64 bit Windows operating system, you need to ensure that you do not have any activation key popups when you run VSPE, or else service wont work. Ensure that you have vspe.license file in localappdata%\Eterlogic\VSPE folder, it will be used by service.
Step 1.
- Create and save VSPE configuration in file (for example, c:\temp\config.vspe).
Step 2.
- Click "Helpers -> Set up as Windows service" menu and follow the instructions. Esure that you copy full command line when running it CMD!
NOTE: You cannot run VSPE as application and as service at the same time! You need to either stop service or close VSPE application.
